About headshot day :

I will have the studio setup for a matching company headshot upon your arrival. I will guide you through a variety of poses and expressions. I will help you choose the best expressions and help you understand what emotions you are projecting. After the image is retouched, I will send to you and let your company know your headshot is ready for the world!

What to wear :

• Do not wear clothing that is tightly patterned (stripes, squares, zig zags etc), no bright colors, clean and well fitting clothes.

• For suite jackets, a variety of  blues, blacks, and grays are good. White or lightly colored undershirts are great. Tie or no tie, depending on your role in the company and how you are typically seen.

• If you want to wear a color, do so with caution. It looks great when you know how to make it work for your makeup, skin tones, and wardrobe. If you don’t want to risk a clothing item grabbing attention before your face, go with something less vibrant and saturated.

Quick tips :

• Avoid alcohol within 72 hours of the shoot so your sleep, energy, and hydration levels are not hindered

• Do not wear highly reflective jewelry or clothing with distracting patterns

• Wear clothing that is well fit to your body, clean, and de-wrinkled.

• It’s common to be nervous about headshot day but you are in good hands with me. This experience will be faster and more fun than you expect. You bring an optimistic attitude and we will take care of the rest!
